Elves: Saculum Cataclysmo—“Douchebag”
A humanoid race that come from a parasite dimension, known as Fairyland. This pocket dimension can latch onto different universes at certain times, allowing the elves to go hunting. (not hunting to kill, such as for food or survival. Not even for sport. But rather to capture and subsequently torture, because it’s fun.)
Elves have no artistic talent and do not possess the ability to be creative. Which is one reason why they hunt for people. But they want to have some fun, so they often kidnap human musicians, artists, bards, even children who are expected to sing, dance and play for their amusement. But in the end no specific type of person is truly safe. To elves, music and such can be fun, but torture is even more fun. There is not a single elf reported as being nice or good. They are terrific - they beget terror. They are skilled at leaving their prey (ie. everyone) alive for weeks whilst they enjoy slowly torturing it.
Socially and psychologically, elves are vain, vapid, and cruel monsters with absolutely no feeling or regard for any other creatures. That being said, they are also incredibly beautiful.
Elves are glamorous. When an elf is conscious, he or she is capable of making humans perceive him/her as beautiful and grand, and the humans will feel, by comparison, worthless and unimportant. Elves can also read minds. They can also hypnotize humans with their singing (which is not, as such, musical. But because of their glamour it may seem musical.)
The glamour does not seem to have as much effect on trolls and dwarfs, partly because they lack the romantic imagination to let it work and partly because of their connection to iron. Rational thought and the absence of superstition, which makes the glamour easier to resist, is referred to by Nanny Ogg as "iron in the head".
Elves have copper-based, blue-green blood, and are extremely vulnerable to iron. This is partly because there is no way of magicking iron, and partly that they have the ability to detect magnetic fields, and use them to navigate. The presence of iron disrupts this and sends them into a panic. When there is no iron around they have the absolute confidence of beings who know exactly where they are.
Though elves lack the ability to procreate within their own species, they are capable of breeding with humans, resulting in offspring with superficially elvish characteristics - skinny, pointy ears, a tendency to giggle- but fundamentally human traits i.e. empathy, sympathy, and smattering of other normal human emotions.
